Financial Info
Insurance and BillingWe do accept most traditional insurance plans and we participate with Delta Dental's Premier and PPO Networks, MetLife and Blue Cross. We encourage you to call your dental benefits carrier to verify acceptance of your specific insurance coverage with our office.
We do not participate in Health Management Organizations. You may check with your insurance company if you are unsure if your plan permits you to seek dental care from the dentist of your choice or must choose from a given network of providers. We are, however, happy to work with you in arranging payment plans where necessary.
As a service for our patients, we do offer insurance form submission. For our patients with dental insurance, please understand that we can only “estimate” your insurance coverage. By submitting your insurance claims directly for you, we handle step one in the process. If there are deductibles or co-payments, they are to be paid at the time of service. Your insurance is a negotiated contract between your employer and the insurance company to cover a limited amount of basic services. Dental insurance companies, unlike medical, rarely cover 100% of any dental fee, and often cover less than 50% or nothing at all. We are committed to helping you achieve the maximum benefits to which you are entitled and openly communicate to you if and when there are procedures which may not be covered.
Payment PolicyPayments can be made by cash, personal check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Interest-free dental treatment financing is available through Care Credit, a Michigan Dental Association endorsed credit company. Our office is an active participant in Care Credit and we have contact information and online application available at our office for your convenience.
The patient portion of any treatment balance is due as service is rendered, including any lab fees or major dental treatments (crowns, bridges, etc). |
